I extend to you on behalf of the Sydney Organising Committee an invitation to support through sponsorship and grants the 2010 Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australian and New Zealand Children’s Haematology- Oncology Group.

The 2010 Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) of the Australian and New Zealand Children’s Haematology-Oncology Group (ANZCHOG) will be held 31 August - 3 September in Sydney. ANZCHOG is a multidisciplinary organisation made up of individual members representing every childhood cancer centre within the two countries. Its mission is to develop, promote and support research and to foster excellence in clinical care at all levels in paediatric oncology.

This meeting is the largest scientific forum in the region for paediatric haematologists and oncologists, radiation oncologists, nursing and allied health professionals. Over 250 delegates, international and local will attend this four day conference. The meeting themes for 2010 are:

Symptom Management
Lymphoma
Coagulation Disorders
Stem Cell Transplantation
Long Term Survivorship

The meeting will consist of formal lectures and updates by keynote speakers, both international and local. There will be sessions devoted to presentations of research programs and reports from ANZCHOG centres. In addition there will be a “Best Abstracts” oral and poster presentation session. The ASM will provide extensive and varied educational program for attendees and the meeting will provide ample opportunities for delegates to mix with corporate sponsors.

Each year ANZCHOG relies on substantial external financial support to organise and host the ASM. We ask that you consider becoming a significant sponsor in 2010.
