8th APCAB 2012: Algae for the Future and 1st ICCB
On behalf of the APCAB organising committee, I invite you to participate in the 8th Asia-Pacific Conference on Algal Biotechnology (APCAB 2012) in Adelaide, Australia. This conference follows on from the successes of previous APCAB conferences around the Asia Pacific.
This decade presents the renaissance of the algae industry and research in the Asia-Pacific. Macro and micro-algae cultivation, bio-discovery and bio-processing are rapidly growing sources of new products and industries, influencing research and the development of technologies and policies. The 8th APCAB 2012 will bring together experts in the field for ideas and knowledge and a roadmap for the future. Our world class scientific program is being assembled with the help of our local and international committees and includes recent advances in algal genomics, algal aquaculture, the Biorefinery concept, taxonomy, ecology and environmental management.
In conjunction with this conference we are also hosting the 1st International Conference on Coastal Biotechnology (ICCB). We look forward to welcoming you to Adelaide in July, 2012
