Sponsorship

It is with great pleasure that The Asia-Pacific Congress of Medical Virology invites you to participate in the 9th APCMV 2012 Congress, to be held on 6-8 June 2012 in Adelaide, South Australia.

The Asia-Pacific Society for Medical Virology is the only organisation that addresses academic, diagnostic and public health virology in the Asian region, with over 500 members from 39 countries. Since its inception it has hosted a successful triennial congress, most recently in Delhi 2006 and in Hong Kong 2009, that provides a vital regional forum to address issues of particular interest for Asia. Of course many of the most recent problems for the international virological community (SARS, Nipah virus, rabies, avian influenza, dengue, HIV) have strong links to and concern for our region. Adelaide was chosen to host the 9th APCMV Congress. This is the first time it has been held in Australia. We are expecting 350-450 delegates to attend, comprising many of the senior virologists, public health workers, infectious diseases clinicians and researchers from our region. The congress is an ideal opportunity to engage with active and senior professionals in these fields from the Asia-Pacific region.

Sponsorship provides an excellent opportunity to promote your name, to support your products and to maintain a high profile among virologists and infectious diseases specialists before, during and after the event. The Congress delegates will be keen to advance their scientific knowledge, and by sponsorship you will demonstrate your commitment to scientific education, a positive factor in consolidating brand loyalty. We look forward to your expression of interest and support at this Congress.
