National Biodiscovery Forum 2011

Highlights include:

  • DAY ONE - Up-to-date information on Australia’s research in the areas of: bioprocessing, biorefinery, biofuels, bioremediation, biomining, bioactives, genetic sequencing and bioresource collections.
  • DAY TWO - The Nagoya Protocol – international rules for providing access to genetic resources and sharing the benefits from their use – implications for Australian researchers. Workshops on bioremediation, marine biotechnology and access and benefit sharing.
  • Discussion at the end of each session, get your voice heard!
  • Dr Paul Willis, well-known science communicator and Director of the Royal Institute of Australia will MC the forum on Day 1.
