The Program committee invites abstracts for the 2012 Gifted & Talented Children’s Conference to be held in Adelaide, 11-14th July 2012.
The conference theme is “Excellence & Equality for All”
The conference will include a number of different streams addressing a range of topics including:
- Recent research on giftedness
- Indigenous giftedness including leadership
- Science and Technology including IT and e-Learning
- Social and Emotional aspects of giftedness including Cognitive/socio-affective issues, Emotional Intelligence
- At the “chalkface” including Differentiation of school programs, subject specific programs, evaluation of schools' programs
- Psychology of giftedness, including assessment for giftedness, creativity, leadership
- Underachieving Gifted including Gifted and Learning Disabled/Twice Exceptional
Submissions are encouraged from; experienced teacher practitioners in Gifted Education, beginner teacher practitioners in Gifted Education, non-teaching professionals, university students of Gifted Education & parents.
Abstracts notifications will be sent out via email by 16th March 2012.
