Planning is well advanced for the 10th Quality in Postgraduate Research Conference to be held in Adelaide, at the Stamford Grand Hotel, 17 to 20 April 2012.
The biennial QPR conferences have become a focal point for the discussion of postgraduate education at both the national and international levels. Previous conferences have attracted significant numbers of representatives from Europe, North America, the United Kingdom, South-East Asia, South Africa, and New Zealand. Given the increasing interest in research education, we expect the 2012 conference to attract well over 200 delegates.
The QPR conference provides supporters with a great opportunity to present themselves to a range of people associated with postgraduate research education. The QPR conferences are attended by Deans and Directors of Graduate Studies, Graduate School/Centre Administrators, postgraduate coordinators, academic and professional developers, research supervisors and postgraduate students, providing great opportunity for networking and exchange of information.
As in previous years, the success of the QPR conference has in large part come from the support of our University partners and suppliers, providing sponsorship towards speaker and conference costs. In due course, the conference organisers will be in contact with you or your representatives to seek your support for the 2012 conference.
