THE ADELAIDE CONVENTION CENTRE

ADELAIDE

Adelaide is a compact city of approximately 1.2 million people, situated between the beautiful Adelaide Hills and the long white beaches of the Gulf of St Vincent. Adelaide retains much of the charm and tranquility of the past while offering all the vigour, multicultural diversity and conveniences of a modern city. Adelaide is known for its biennial Arts Festival, its many churches and graceful stone buildings and its location within an hour’s drive of some of Australia’s most famous and beautiful wine producing regions.

CAR PARKING

The Centre operates both the Riverbank and North Terrace car parks, which are open 24 hours/ day, 7 days a week. Entry is via North Terrace. Early bird parking is available for $10 per day if entry is prior to 9.30am and departure prior to 6.30pm. Beyond 6.30pm casual parking charges will apply. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS When you register, please notify the Congress Secretariat of any mobility disabilities or special dietary requirements.

TRANSPORT FROM THE AIRPORT

The Adelaide Airport provides a choice of transport modes to and from the airport. These include self-drive, hire cars, taxis and limousines. A public transport bus service is also available via Adelaide City through to the north/ eastern suburbs, with connections to rail and other bus routes.
