Social Program

The Congress social program will be a time for delegates to catch up with old friends and meet new ones in a relaxed atmosphere. Delicious food, fine wines, and a friendly atmosphere will ensure many nights of entertainment, enjoyment and memories to take home.

WELCOME RECEPTION AND OPENING OF TRADE EXHIBITION

DATE: Thursday 19 April
TIME: 6.00pm to 8.00pm
VENUE: Halls I, J, K, Adelaide Convention Centre

Tickets: Included in Full Delegate and Accompanying Person Registration, extra tickets can be purchased at AUD $75.00 each

Dress Code: Smart Casual

Delegates will have the opportunity to enjoy drinks and finger food inside the Trade Exhibition area. Music from students of the Marryatville High School band will set the mood for the evening.

CONGRESS GALA DINNER

DATE: Saturday 21 April
TIME: 7.00pm to 11.30pm
VENUE: Hall F & G, Adelaide Convention Centre

Tickets: Full delegate and Accompanying Persons AUD $50.00each, extra tickets can be purchased at AUD $100.00each

Dress Code: ‘Dress to impress’

Theme: ‘Red, White or Sparkling’

Australians love to party! This evening will provide time for guests to chat, eat and mingle.

Expect surprises throughout the night and for those who like to dance, join us on the dance fl oor with music from local band Orange Whip.

TASTE OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA AT SUNSET

DATE: Sunday 22 April
TIME: 5.30pm
VENUE: The Promenade, Adelaide Convention Centre

Tickets: Included in Full Registration, additional tickets can be purchased at AUD $75.00 each

Enjoy what Aussies do best: As the sun sets, indulge the senses as you experience South Australian food, a glass of red or white wine together with friends outside the Adelaide Convention Centre on the banks of the River Torrens.

MONDAY POST CONGRESS OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS

Take the opportunity to sit back, relax and explore the beauty of Adelaide and surrounding areas, before returning home.

TIME: 1.00 to 5.30pm

You have a choice of one of the following options: All prices are inclusive of Goods and Service Tax (GST).

1. WINERY VISIT IN THE ADELAIDE HILLS

Just 35 minutes from the city centre is the Bird in Hand winery. Enjoy the vista of beautiful vineyards and rolling hills beyond as you indulge your palate in the best of South Australian wines and cheeses.

Cost: AUD $60.00 per person

2. CLELAND WILDLIFE PARK

This package would consist of park entry, a guided tour followed by afternoon tea, providing the opportunity to see up close a variety of Cleland Wildlife Park residents, possibilities including Tasmanian Devils, Dingoes, potoroos, and a variety of kangaroos, wallabies, birds and reptiles. Take the occasion to get up close and personal with a Koala together with photographic opportunities.

Cost: AUD $50.00 per person

3. HISTORIC HAHNDORF

Time to stroll along the main street of Adelaide’s historic German Village in the Adelaide Hills.

Cost: AUD $20.00 per person

4. GLENELG BEACH AND SHOPPING

Browse the shops or walk along one of Adelaide’s best beaches.

Cost: AUD $15.00 per person

1. Wander along Adelaide’s Cultural Boulevard and visit the Art Gallery and The Museum
