This education activity is intended for GPs only.
Despite the complexities associated with this population, GPs are ideally placed to engage with patients presenting with borderline personality disorder (BPD). This education session provides an outline of how the GPs can provide effective support and treatment options for these patients.

At the end of this session GPs will be able to:

  • Outline are the challenges surrounding the diagnosis of BPD
  • Examine the treatment options for people with BPD
  • Outline the general principles of providing care to people with BPD
