How to support us

Partner with us

Our corporate partners provide vital support to our education program.

The program provides much needed emergency, obstetric and other medical education face to face in rural locations to ensure GPs, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals can attend maximising the use of their valuable time within their community who rely on them.

Over 300,000 South Australians live in rural SA, most of which are located some hour’s drive from specialist or main ancillary services.  Local doctors not only provide services from their local practice but also to the local hospital and take on a variety of medical roles that are absent in their community.  Through self directed education they develop their skills in emergency, anaesthetics, obstetrics, surgery, mental health, paediatrics, aboriginal health, palliative care and more.

As you can appreciate taking specialised speakers and equipment to rural locations is very expensive and we require partners to assist us to ensure this program continues to be available in rural SA.

sapmea is a not-for-profit, health promotion charity with deductable gift recipient status, unique in its capacity to support a whole of state approach to medical continuing education for the better health of our community.

sapmea has regular contact with over 2,000 General Practitioners (both urban & rural), over 400 practice and A&E (Accident & Emergency) Nurses, 100's of GP Registrars and Medical Students who provide health care to some 1.5 million South Australian's.  Annually we are in contact with over 50 specialists in various fields who assist us in delivering our quality education.

Attendees at our rural workshops come from across South Australia, the Northern Territory, Tasmania, Western Australia and Western Victoria.

sapmea's principals are professionalism, cooperation, honesty & integrity, and openness & transparency.

sapmea partners can experience a range of benefits including brand positioning via our website event calendar, weekly e-news, reception foyer collateral, a variety of workshop marketing mediums, door prizes, speaker, attendee and partner gifts, and face to face opportunities depending on their level of partnership.

Partners can discuss various options to suit their business goals including cash support of our education programs or in kind donations.
