sapmea creates opportunities for health professionals to continue their professional education by participating in educational events or working with medical organisations to facilitate educational opportunities including workshops, seminars and conferences.
sapmea is an Accredited Activity Provider (AAP) with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). sapmea’s Education Activity Representatives ensure that all sapmea workshops have relevant RACGP QI&CPD points and have relevant Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) points attached.
All Emergency and Procedural Medicine workshops are conducted as minimum one full day (6 hours of learning) and are tailored to ensure they meet both the educational needs of the General Practitioners (GPs) as well as the procedural grant criteria.
GPs gain maximum benefit from attending sapmea education workshops - quality education, as well as obtaining maximum points and grants where possible.
GP Registrars, Medical Students, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals are welcome to attend all education workshops at a reduced registration fee (see individual workshop information for prices). sapmea is currently investigating needs of these professionals to ensure future workshop planning maximises integrated education opportunities.
