We proceed with event planning by taking one step at a time. We believe that this is the best approach to saving the world – if we could only encourage more people and organisations to take those simple steps, one step at a time.

As we learn more about environmental impacts, we are committed to positioning sapmea as an environmental leader amongst Conference Organisers in Australia. 

In 2009, sapmea introduced its Green Team to remain abreast of green initiatives in business and work with a carbon emission reduction company to identify ways in which our clients can reduce or remove the carbon footprint of their conference and establish sustainable carbon e missions practices.

The Green Team can advise your committee on the best energy saving solutions for your event.

We also believe that we need to give back to the community that established sapmea for the purposes of helping the community. As a not-for-profit entity with deductable gift recipient status, sapmea is fortunate to be able to support research programs, scholarships and continuing education programs for medical professionals in metropolitan and rural areas. Topics such as Early Stroke Intervention or Managing Obesity are packaged and delivered to doctors and health professionals as workshops so that new knowledge is shared and professional networks are built; both of which are invaluable outcomes for country practitioners and their patients.
