sapmea and sapro
As part of its hundred year involvement with medical education in South Australia,, sapmea has, since 1975, also initiated and managed meetings and events for the medical, science and engineering communities.
As a not-for-profit association, and health promotion charity with deductable gift recipient status, sapmea is unique in its capacity to support research and continuing education for the better health of our community. Profits generated by sapmea and sapro support research programs, scholarships and continuing education programs for medical professionals in metropolitan and rural areas. By using sapmea, you can be sure that you’re investing in the future of our community’s health in more ways than one.
The acquisition in 2009 of sapro Conference Management has allowed sapmea to further refine and specialise its areas of expertise.
The conference management arm of our operations is dealt with by the sapro team, while Continuing Medical Education workshops and operational administration is handled by sapmea. This unity and diversity in our operations allows us to offer an exceptional and unequalled service to the community.
As conference managers we understand that a successful event is more than a timetable of speakers, a list of paid delegates and adequate catering. It is demonstrating an understanding of human factors, integrating these into the program and environment, making available informed choices to add richness to the event.
Of course, the hallmarks of a sapro event are made possible only with the resources that include an award-winning, accredited conference management team and risk management strategies including Ungerboeck Systems International’s Event Booking Management Service (EBMS) for online registrations and data management. Used by every convention centre, and some large event venues, in Australia, EBMS is at the cutting edge of stable and secure software solutions for event management. It offers secure online registrations, abstract management, regular financial and delegate reports and electronic submission of material. It’s just one example of one of the tools we utilise to make your event a seamless experience.
